The area the 4 Common Corners group resides in is largely seen as the high desert, which makes folks think "HOT"!
Our reality is that we have extremes of weather, from really hot to really cold. Snow and ice are part of our area and these pieces reflect our group’s vision of what the cold season looks like.
Transparency can have so many references and associations. From a visible and open process to emotional honesty to an object that can be seen through such as glass of water. Our artists broadly interpreted the concept of transparency, which were both literal and metaphorical.
