What once was alive and now left for dead on the western desert landscape, is beautiful. The remains lend a story of what once lived here and how the harsh terrain in search of water or escape from heat leaves a shell of a life behind. While the interior shell of a skull is no longer supporting the outer flesh, it becomes a new creature and a sculpted form. The inner cavity exposed, free and new growth is allowed to emerge. The old is gone and the new springs forth.
