I quilt because I love to make things with my hands. Art quilting is how I combine my training as a painter with fiber as a medium. The search for quality is an endless pursuit in my work. I like figuring out the construction of a quilt so the structure as well as the artistry is present. Design, composition and the play of colors are never far from my mind as I work.
