Lowell, Arizona 2019

31” by 43”

by Anne Moats

Lowell, Arizona, is now a neighborhood in my hometown of Bisbee. The town of Lowell has been neglected since the fifties, and remains largely untouched from those years. This quilt was inspired by a photograph I took in 2019. I am fascinated by our American ruins, the decaying remains of our history that we can still find in random corners of our modern world.
