A distinctive feature of the Colorado Plateau is the Four Corners, where Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico meet at a point. It is often referred to as Red Rock Country.
These beautiful rock formations overwhelm the viewer, not just because of their beauty but also because of their size. The fragile pinnacles of rock are surrounded by miles of mesas and buttes, shrubs, trees, and windblown sand, all comprising the magnificent landscape. This piece is not one particular place but a compilation of many rock formations found in Colorado.
