Much of the landscape of the southwest was created by heat, specifically in the form of magma bubbling from the earth's core, commonly known as a volcano. From Ship Rock in New Mexico, to the currently active, although asleep, volcano in Dotsero, Colorado, these icons of the landscape are an integral and widespread part of the 4 corners area. Talk about HEAT, the thousands of rock formations, mounds, and mountains in the region are sculpted from earth's original fire.
