A still life sits in the window. The Texas Star Hibiscus will only last a few days off the vine but it’s a beauty. As the light comes through the glass the array of colors and patterns reflected give the composition transparency to a moment in time. The time was 1982 and the flowers were in abundance and the garden caretaker has a knack for hibiscus care. Me on the other hand, not so much. I am just being transparent. Oh, to be still and reflect on the many talents of others.
